Settings
Appearance
Modern pink is the default Crafty Witches look. Heritage parchment keeps a little more of the original software feel.
Collection Library Folder
No dedicated library folder selected. Choose the folder where your Crafty Witches collections already live; The Cauldron reads the PDFs in place and does not create duplicate copies.
App storage
Craft Sheet projects, favourites, settings and small preview/cache data stay locally on this device. Collection PDFs in a linked Library Folder remain in that folder and are not uploaded.
Clear local library
Removes imported Spellbooks and saved Craft Sheets from this device.
Help
1. Add a Spellbook
For desktop use, choose a Library Folder containing your Crafty Witches collections. The programme reads those files where they already live and refreshes the library from that folder. Legacy ZIP/PDF import remains available where folder linking is not supported.
2. Browse your Spellbook
Choose a collection or category in the Cauldron Vault, then click the page preview you want to use. Use Back to Sections or Back to Collections to move through the Spellbook, and View Index where available to see the collection's original index pages.
3. Create decoupage
Open a page and choose Rectangle, Circle/Oval or Points. With 1:1 Lock off, Rectangle and Circle/Oval can be any proportion. Turn 1:1 Lock on, or hold Shift while drawing/resizing, for a perfect square or circle. Point crop lets you click around an irregular shape and close it by clicking the first point again.
Keyboard shortcuts
Delete/Backspace delete • Ctrl/Cmd + ] layer up • Ctrl/Cmd + [ layer down • Ctrl/Cmd + Z undo • Ctrl/Cmd + Y redo • Ctrl/Cmd + C / V copy and paste • Ctrl/Cmd + G group • Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + G ungroup • Arrow keys move 1 mm • Shift + Arrow move 5 mm.
4. Tidy a crop
Remove White removes connected white around the outside edge of a cropped element. It is deliberately simple and is designed for Crafty Witches framed elements and block sentiments.
5. Arrange your Craft Sheet
Click an item to edit it, or drag a selection box around several items to select and move them together. Items automatically snap to page edges, page centres and other objects when they get close; pink guide lines show the alignment. The grey surround can be used as a temporary holding area, but only artwork inside the white page prints. Use Bring Forward and Send Back for one layer at a time, or To Front and To Back for the very top or bottom.
6. Add extra pages
Use Add Page to create a second or later Craft Sheet page for inserts or extra decoupage. Use Remove Page if one was added by mistake. The page controls and Craft Sheet zoom now sit together on the top setup line.
7. Add Text
Add wording using device fonts, choose the font colour and alignment, curve it upwards or downwards, stack it vertically, and preview it using the same proportions used on the Craft Sheet. Curved text is kept inside a safe visual area and resizing scales the whole wording rather than clipping it.
8. Print
The Craft Sheet can be portrait or landscape and prints at the selected paper size. Crops are rendered from the PDF at high resolution rather than taken as low-quality screen captures.
